Caravanserai Project

You're tuning in to The Mike & Phebe Show; joining us today from Caravanserai Project are Franzene Minott, Chief Strategy Officer and Sierra Sims, Program Manager.
 
Mike and Phebe met Franzene and Sierra by participating in their Collaborative Capacity Building grant course, a 10 week program in collaboration with IEHP Foundation, which our sister station Barn Door Radio received the grant. Franzene and Sierra discusses Caravanserai Project's mission as a nonprofit organization, their programs which empower individuals from marginalized, under-resourced communities to launch for profit and nonprofit organizations that generate financial security, economic mobility, and systemic change. Franzene and Sierra also inform our audience on how Caravanserai helps the nonprofit and profit sector alike, alongside other specific projects and programs they have currently such as the SEED Lab program, and how nonprofits and for-profit organizations can get involved and find more resources and grants and other funding.

Patricia Johnson is a Dietless Coach, Clinical Rapid Transformational Therapist, Hypnotherapist, and Motivational Speaker. Patricia has studied Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Patricia also studied Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Patricia frees people from limiting beliefs and give them Freedom, typically in one to three sessions.

Knowing firsthand how Illicit Fentanyl can change lives, President and CEO Amber Royer has made it her goal to share her experience by trying to save as many lives as possible.  Out of the Ashes Organization was created to be a voice for Richard, Amber's son who accidently passed away due to Fentanyl overdose. Amber discusses her nonprofit organization's mission and goals they hope to accomplish, what steps their organization is taking to advocate for legislative changes to hold fentanyl distributors accountable, and other important topics to bring awareness and educate our communities about illicit fentanyl usage.

IEHP Foundation

In today's episode of The Mike & Phebe Show, we're talking to IEHP Foundation CEO Greg Bradbard. We met Greg at the graduation ceremony for the IEHP Foundation's Collaborative Capacity Building Grant for our sister station Barn Door Radio. We were humbled to have received the grant through IEHP Foundation, so we invited Greg to join us on our podcast to talk to the community about IEHP Foundation and to spread the word about their mission!
Greg shares about IEHP Foundation's mission and expands on the idea of Vibrant Health, what is the relationship between IEHP, the health plan and the Foundation, how has IEHP Foundation developed it’s giving /funding strategies, how can organizations and individuals get involved, amongst other topics.
